You know what I really miss? Old school early '90s promotional videos for videogames. Sure, they were all pretty cheesy, but those promos always did the job of hyping up videogames for me. I still remember the day when I got a video cassette for Diddy Kong Racing and a "confidential" dossier for GoldenEye 64 from Nintendo.
These two new promotional videos for the new Punch-Out!! feel just like those old school promos. It also reminds me a lot of Team Awesome's Punch-Out trailer (speaking of which, I wonder what they've been up to.)
In the first video, we see Little Mac go through training to get ready to fight King Hippo once again. We also see Doc Louis talk a bunch of nonsense about Yo-Yos and stuff. Poor guy is going senile. In the second video, Doc Louis shows off how people will be playing Punch-Out!! on the Wii.
This is the kind of videos that need to be made more often. Check out the promo videos for yourself after the break.
[P.S: Here's a funny Punch-Out related YTMND (Via GoNintendo) and Punch-Out boxing gloves accessories that GameStop is selling this week.

I'm not sure what it is about fighting games and leaks. It's almost as if their mere existence is a challenge for the world to determine the roster ahead of time. With Injustice: Gods Among Us, word got out that Lobo, Batgir...

Remember that tease for something DOA related that featured Momoji? We were worried it would be for some silly character DLC. It turns out that it was a tease for a new game: Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.
This week's Famitsu reveals that Dead or Alive 5 Ulitmate is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360. The only thing we know so far is pretty obvious by now: Momiji will be a playable character.
Stay tuned.
