Little King's Story goes gold, also new videos photo

Alright, so after Dale's preview of Little King's Story at E3, you might have gotten the impression that he didn't like it so much ... or at least, that he was too tired to talk about it. Having actually been there for the preview though, I can vouch for the game: it looks absolutely gorgeous and has all the whimsy that you would hope for looking at the screenshots. Preordering it nabs you a free Onii figure, too!

XSEED announced today that the game has gone gold, and you can see more of that award winning action after the jump with three new gameplay videos that show off some of the classes in the game including carpenter, chef and more. The game will be on store shelves this July 21st -- are you thinking of picking up a copy?

I've been following this game for so long, with such avid interest, and now I'm finally going to have a chance to pick it up...

But I'm so concerned that I won't have the money to spare to pick up a game when it drops.

But seriously, were those Chefs fighting the giant chickens by preparing them to be eaten in mid-air? A-MA-ZING.

For once the UK wins.

We have had this game for months now and it is awesome!

I'm going to have to pick this up when I have some extra cash. Anything that has to do with the creator of Harvest Moon, I'm going to be interested in.

From the 8 hours I played this game for a preview, I can also vouch for the quality of the game.

The localization is excellent also, as the game comes with its sense of humor intact.

I'm pretty sure they have a strange definition of gold, because the game has been completed for months and has been out in both Japan and Europe.

Wasn't interested in this game until I saw the pre-order bonus. Yeah, I'ma sucker for pre-order bonuses, and I'm probably only one in a handful of jackasses who would pay a lot of money for a game just for the pre-order bonus. But I did look into it after I pre-ordered it over at Amazon, and I am thoroughly looking forward to it's release. :)

Here's a fun drinking game to play with this: take a shot every time a review says something to the effect of "enjoyable despite its kiddy aesthetic." Take two shots if they say the art style detracts from the game and a swig if they just call it a Pikmin or Overlord ripoff (Though it might dodge that last bullet because Overlord is already the resident "Pikmin ripoff".

I fucking love the artstyle for this game and it also gives me a bit of a pickmin with more depth vibe, wich is also good... So consider yourself bought, little king.

I already have it since lauch in France and it's awesome, the only problem I have with it is that it didn't come with the Oni figure and for that I'm sad.
Anyway, BUY IT!

Haivng already finished this (Europe again) it's a pretty strong candidate for game of the year, and exactly the kind of title people have been complaining about the Wii not having.
Don't overlook this one.

i am also about 8 hours in the game .
there is a lot to , i like the game only down side is that the controls can become a bit frustrating at times (why didnt they use ir)

Also notice the small mushroom enemies have little penises.
