Little Big Music: a music collection from LittleBigPlanet

9:46 AM on 12.11.2008

Daniel Pemberton composed the opening theme (above) and many other songs for the soundtrack of LittleBigPlanet. Now he's set to release Little Big Music: Musical Oddities From And Inspired By LittleBigPlanet, a collection of 18 songs composed for the game.

The release is coming to iTunes on December 15th. Pemberton let Oddworld have a sample track called "Horny Old Man," which is one of the b-sides that did not make it into LittleBigPlanet... yet. He says that it may be used in the future as the game expands.

Visit Offworld to stream or download this track.

The music in LBP is pretty good overall, but I strongly dislike this song. I hope that's not in the collection!

Tarsier Studios presents Hunger, a surreal action adventure

Tarsier Studios did an excellent job on LittleBigPlanet Vita, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. Their new project Hunger looks like a decidedly different affair, a much more mythical story with somber tones and stealt...more
