From Ryan "Mega Beardo" Postlethwait, the man who brought us the Castlevania concept album Belmont, comes a modern metal re-imagining of the original NES Zelda soundtrack. At a mere four tracks in length, Ledjent of Zelda just pops in, rocks your face, then zips out the side door like a phantom in the night. The digital version is free, but you can choose to be generous and spring for the $5 physical album if you wanna.
I would like to point out Beardo's amazing NES guitar. I've seen consoles converted into guitars before -- MegaDriver, anyone? -- and there's always a certain tacky hotness about them. It's like, you wouldn't expect sound to actually come out of one of those things, but it does! How does that happen? Voodoo magic? A pact with Satan?
