Limbo, Trials HD, Splosion Man get retail pack photo

Amazon.com has outed a fancy Xbox Live Arcade retail three pack featuring Limbo, Trial HD, and Splosion Man. It's out April 12, and will run you $29.99.

If you have an Internet connection, you should probably already have these games, so this is just for weirdos who do not. I guess. As the product features section on the Website says, and I'm not making this up: "Destructoid - 10/10."

In reality, our reviewer only gave Limbo a perfect score, but both Splosion Man and Trials HD received high marks, each with a respectable 9 out of 10.  Basically what I'm saying is that this is a package of awesome games, even if I think you'd some kind of fool if you didn't already own them.

Excellent bundle. Three of the best XBLA exclusives available.

I am a fool for not owning Limbo (as well as Shadow Complex) but I would snatch those two up in a heartbeat if Microsoft would have a sale for them already!! *sigh* Maybe this Summer.

I don't have Internet at home for my consoles, and I STILL managed to have all three of these already. So, there's really no excuse for anyone else.

Already own all 3 but not a bad deal. Especially since it'll end up getting marked down to cheaper prices during sales and stuff meaning even more of a bargain

I love these retail packs -- I may actually buy this one just for Limbo, and I don't even have a 360 anymore.

Yeah I don't own these. We can't all be Rich McRichersons.

Well and I almost always opt for disc games. Just natural.

Still want Limbo PC. :-\ Everyone knows a Steam deal would net these guys more cash than XBLA!!

The greatest thing about disc packs like this is Poor McPoorersons like you can just give them a rent! (Which you should definitely do... Limbo is right up your alley, I think.)

I have internet connection, I just don't have room on my harddrive. I don't know how Microsoft expects the xbox marketplace to take off when they have a monopoly on hardrives and a 60 GB harddrive costs 80 dollars. That said, I also hate the concept of Digital content with all of the content license restrictions, and it doesn't even feel like you own it. I'll jump on this just to support disc based retail

Yeah, great package, would be tempting if I didn't already own these games.

I'd like to see more of these. Reason being is I only have a 2o gig hdd and I'm not going to upgrade unless me xbox dies, then ill get a 250g slim. I usually always have one full sized game installed, and along with saves and the fact that your actual storage is a bit less than the max capacity due to microsofts "reserved" space

I don't own Trials or Splosion man, but I'm not so sure I really want them.

I own (and have completed) LIMBO, but haven't even played the demos of the other two games. I know that Major Nelson was ape-shit about Trials HD for some time. Of the three, LIMBO was and remains the only one to pique my interest.

I'm yet to purchase Limbo, but I managed to get both Trials HD and Splosion Man when they were on sale for a grand total of 560MS points! This disc will probably hit the bargain bin before long - as all compilation discs do - so may as well try them then if you haven't already. They're worth a punt, particularly Trials.

I actually thought Limbo was a bit....mediocre....I appreciated the art style and mechanics...but the length and puzzles were a bit disappointing. The atmosphere built and then it just hit a plateau and just when the puzzles stated to get interesting with the gravity switching...it ended. I felt like it was a demo...I'm all for polishing a game as well as they did that but I felt a little cheated from my money. I also understand it was an indie developer but...just didn't feel fulfilled and a bit over-hyped. The other games are fantastic...Splosion Man is worth every penny. Good luck on hardcore mode though!
