Word recently went out that Playdead's Limbo would be appearing on PlayStation Network and Steam with the vague promise of an upcoming release, and today actual dates were announced. PlayStation 3 owners located in the United States can purchase a copy starting July 19th, with European fans able to buy the game on July 20th. Steam users the world over can pick up a copy starting August 2nd.
As an added bonus, Playdead announced that the Limbo soundtrack would be available for download starting July 11th on iTunes. So if you have already played the game and want to kick back with some of the music, maybe reminisce about the creepiest parts of the adventure, you will be able to.
