Eletronic Arts has announced that it will be bringing the adorable little MySims back to Nintendo's platforms with MySims Kingdom for the Nintendo DS and Wii.

In what appears to be a story-based The Sims title, MySims Kingdom puts players to task with helping King Roland build up "the Kingdom" and bring it back to its former glory. The game will feature all of the customization you'd expect from the franchise, in addition to a new set of characters including Princess Butter, which I'm pretty sure was an adult film I saw in high school.

DESCRIPTION
MySims Kingdom sets you on a story-telling journey of discovery and exploration to help King Roland and his subjects revitalize the Kingdom. Throughout this epic quest you will hear new stories from old and new friends alike, discover fascinating new lands and build to the limit of your imagination.  Your MySims Kingdom experience for the Wii begins in The Capital, the land at the center of your story-telling.  After you have met King Roland you can venture off into the vast lands beyond. Newly-added building options will help you accomplish your tasks.  And in true MySims fashion, everything is customizable, allowing every creation within your world to have a signature look!  MySims Kingdom…embark on your own journey of discovery & exploration!

This game looks cutesy, silly, and kiddy... yet the more I read about it the more I think I'd actually enjoy this. I don't know why, it just strikes me as one of those games I would initially scoff at until I actually tried it and get hooked for a good week or two.

MySims was charming and well put together, but as shallow as a petri dish.

Once you get bored of assembling things with simplified Lego (yes, simplified!), there's not much else to do save shake some trees, dig up treasure, and be happy.

It annoys me that even Sims2 on the DS had more depth than this game, and Animal Crossing DS pisses all over both of them, using a fraction of the space.

Why do they feel the need to dumb down games? The kids? Who says games need to be dumbed down for kids? Kids are smart, I grew up with Elite, for Christ's sake!

do NOT get my sims for the ds it is completey stupid theres no point to it u just kinda walk around and earn money that you can only spend on a couple of like clothes and then theres nothing else u can spend ur money on its retarded
