Man do I have an old ip address for the destructiod server or something? I even tried to get on fnf last night and it was empty as shit. What gives.
Of course the console BF3s won't look as good since the beta DL only clocks up to a little over a gig. It was the same case with the BFBC 2 beta a couple of years ago.
Yeah BF3 has realy gone down hill for me. Went from pre-order to more than likely canceling my pre-order for something. Having the in-game menu system within Battlelog is a horrible design scheme.
I'm surprised that the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection did so well at retail. The two games have really made progress since then in becoming well known games. I've yet to play ICO, but SotC is a great game. The controls hold it back, but everything else is great.
I have to say, I legitimately have no idea what the heck Conrad is talking about with SotC's controls. It uses triangle for jump, and that's a little weird, but other than that...? No, no idea.
The controls in SotC are awkward at first, but once I got used to them I thought they worked rather well. I was never frustrated with the controls except when riding the horse.
Talk about exaggeration. The controls for SotC are not as bad as he clams it to be. You just hold R1 to hold on, use triangle to jump, and the RS to move around on the Colossi. It becomes second nature after one Colossi. As for the horse, just don't hold up on the RS and he'll go foreword. Also I noticed that around small cliffs, the horse controls on his own to avoid sudden stops. Its all about finesse.
Finally got a copy of the team Ico collection and proxx is right, the controls aren't that hard to get used to at all.
Why does everyone complain about the controls in shadow of the colossus? Has anyone ever actually tried to ride a horse? Its not as precise as a car.
Also, how many people can scale a moving 5 story building without having a lot of trouble holding on?
You're not playing some juiced up crackdown/fallout character with godlike weaponry and abilities. You're playing a young boy who's trying to scale and take down small mountains.
Stop crying about the controls, they are intentional and add to the game.
