Level5 Japan: Amazing offices are amazing photo

It's not clear if Level5 (Dark Cloud series, Rogue Galaxy, Dragon Quest remakes, White Knight Story, Jeanne d'Arc) will become the next Square Enix yet, but one thing's for sure: they're working in high style.

The Japanese Level5 Web page features a "Company Navigator," which is basically a slideshow of the Level5 offices. I've seen some pretty amazing offices in my day, but Level5's choice of high style decor with otaku-ish accents really hits home. I know that the forthcoming Destructoid Tower and Housing Complex will eventually make all other offices pale in comparison, but we have a bit of a wait for that.

You're guided to various hallways and meeting rooms, and eventually into offices and development areas. From the ping pong tables to the Rozen Maiden figure and the Dragon Quest slime plushie, this place is a nerdy delight.

Hit the jump to see some highlights, or check out the full gallery at Level5

Damn!

Oh no they didn't.

This is where I geek out.

Nice. That's the exact same slate stone we want to get for our fireplace wall in our house.

Nice.

Who wouldn't want to work in a place where your supervisor was Yoda?

Jesus, those offices are fucking amazing.

And it ain't remain to be seen--Level 5 IS the next Squaresoft/Enix (you know, before they sucked). I'm calling it right now. You know you're good when a mega-corporation hands you their most valuable franchise like what Squeenix is doing with L5 with Dragon Quest.

Do they live there? I would, if they hired me.

Actually, you don't want Level 5 to become the next Square Enix, as much as I love Squeenix, relying on only a few key franchises and remaking all your old games. It is fresh that Level 5 has only made three sequels, Dragon Quest VIII, Professor Layton 2, and Dark Cloud 2, and that everything else has been an IP.

Wow. Just Wow. That's probably one of the most visually appealing offices I have ever seen. So appealing in fact I could happily live there. Whoever designed that space should get some kind of award!
