I mean Sam going around torturing dudes is pretty bad. It would be interesting if there was so kind of repercussion for all the brutality in the story but there won't be will there?
we should be able to choose not to torture the guy instead of choosing to kill or knock him out.
Im going to miss Ol Ironside.
Dude even had the perfect last name.
I'm guessing one of Sam's conditions was also reconstructive surgery as that Sam looks nothing like he Sam should look as he would be almost in his late 60's by now. Ironside also asked Ubi to humanize Sam a bit, with him gone guess we can go on to the full torture porn that all the 12 year olds love.
No light meter, no sound meter, ONE BUTTON EXECUTION BITCHES, STEALTHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, and no Ironside, so no thank you, I will be avoiding this.
It's funny because having no light/sound meter could be seen as more "hardcore". Or streamlined, in a good way.
Either one works. I don't see it as a bad thing.
I'm also excited for this considerably. I mean, you don't have to play it with running and slick kills. You can take your time with it as well, and there seemed to be a couple moments where you could venture off somewhere else.
So there's a short, explosive action sequence at the end. ERMAHGERD. And day-time levels? ... we've kinda had those before, only now it's more emphasized which could prove more interesting than yet another mostly dark Splinter Cell.
Although, I will echo most others in their complaint of no Ironside. Nobody else can be Sam. Nobody.
Post-Conviction is good, but frankly it's just not the classic Splinter Cell that I love. Just watch gameplay of one of the 1st 3 and then watch this. As for Ironside, I still think it's bullshit that he can't still be Sam Fisher for the sake of realism. Unfortunatly Splinter Cell hasn't been a leader in super-realistic graphics since maybe 3. I'd sooner see it revert to Xbox graphics than drop the voice of the series.
I think I remember hearing this was a prequel... I think? If so, that can explain the age "reboot".
No Ironside was a bad move, though.
I've only recently got into the series and I'm sorry that the first one I am likely to buy on launch will not include Ironside.
They could have just introduced a new character if Ironside was leaving, but nooooope, they decided to re-represent Sam as gung ho, something Ironside has always hated and changed with his input.
This is so vapid and lacking any finesse they should be ashamed to use the splinter cell name,
I think I have to remind apparent fans of the Splinter Cell series that Sam called an air-strike in Chaos Theory. So, there is nothing unusual about that. There is also nothing unusual about forced combat scenes.
