Let's see Let's Tap's box-free Best Buy Limited Edition
Looking for Let's Tap? Right now, Best Buy is probably your safest bet. Many Gamestops surveyed aren't carrying it as of yet, whereas Best Buy already seems to be in love with the game; christening their copies of Let's Tap with a "limited edition" moniker. What does this limited edition entail exactly? Well, you're pretty much looking at it. No bonus boxes like that European limited edition that Colette reported on, no Let's Tap stickers, gummy candy, or "Tap on this!!" sexy underwear inside; just the words "Best Buy Limited Edition" on the box, and the inclusion of a "tapping pad" which does absolutely nothing. Still, it's better than the "not-in-our-store edition" you'll get from most of the competition. So far, the game is definitely awesome. As you may already know, Let's Tap is actually a compilation of several other games, all of which are controlled by tapping on a box supporting a Wii remote. I don't really understand the Jenga-style game yet, but there are a few that are reminiscent of the lollipop jogger bit from Rhythm Tengoku and the rhythm platforming of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, and yet another that's a straight-up music-action title firmly inspired by Taiko: Drum Master. If you know what I'm talking about at all, that's enough reason to say that you should go buy Let's Tap immediately. Expect a full Dtoid review of the game soon.
