I have mixed feelings about it. I wouldn't ever listen to this on my own, but I do think this song could be fucking sick to play during a fight in the game. The previous games had cheesy metal and rock, so this is fine in my opinion.

Tried to give it a chance, but it's just not settling. This is one of the times when allowing custom soundtracks (on PS3) would be much appreciated and likely solve more complaints than create.

I think the level design is the best the series has had sense one, but the character is even more annoying than his DMC3 Persona. The gameplay will really decide the merits of this game.

Oh, and DMC3 Dante's persona was annoying to you, Laharl? I've never met someone who disliked his persona in that game. That's like hating the Fonz, man. It ain't something you do, man!
I really like this. I think this is game as a whole is a great step for the series. Can't say I was too fond of Nero in DMC4.
Yeah this is what a want to hear in an action game about Demons, a SUV getting raped by a Deception. Because it would be just STUPID to have something more "gothic" sounded in a game with gothic themes and a gothic setting.

2: DMC would have been better in my mind if it had zero wubs. Even though yes, you can see it working with violent gameplay... i feel that bowing to this trend cheapens the whole experience. Now i'm going to feel like i'm playing any EA game.

dubstep = years before it hit america. brostep = what americans did to dubstep after it became "popular". jaded a**hats = people who claim to enjoy music (and even to be musicians) but stick to their small obscure genre of music.
Also, embrace the eargasm while you can motherfuckers, don't be a person like Sæglópur, try to enjoy everything that can be enjoyed.
I don't necessarily mind dubstep if it has some kind of rhythm, but this just sounded like a collection of random sounds with no reasoning to their placement. Like a fax machine vomiting up a dial up modem.

If people had an actual grasp of why they disliked something you would think they'd be able to elaborate. I'll be the first to admit I prefer some things to others, but complete and arbitrary dismissal of anything like this is stupid. Don't like it for legitimate reasons? Fine. I dislike when games include trendy music rather than music that fits the setting and tone of the game. Again, I haven't seen much of the game. Has it changed that much since the other DMC games?

Let's not pretend that this is a vision and dubstep wasn't put in because of how popular it is currently. Same with the look of the character which I was fine with up until this point, but they're just going with trends to make the game sell well, and it's going to date the game.

Right, Konnery, cause clearly people with a sincere dislike of the genre and tired of having to explain it every time it comes up are small minded. I've heard a shit ton of dubstep and in all honesty I cannot get into it. The rhythm is nearly undetectable, the collection of sounds in the song don't make up something that I would call a 'song', and all in all it's very repetitious and bears listening to twice AT MOST. Plus, this is a video game, so you can expect to hear this song more than once and I can honestly say that I'd rather not, willingly, hear this more than twice. This song wasn't fucking horrible, but it was pretty far from decent, IN MY HONEST OPINION.

i was wondering when dubstep in any form would compromise the entire soundtrack for a game. Somehow not surprised that it's to DmC. gonna make my monster slaying all the more fun and irritating for my neighbours who sing to karaoke till 4am in the morning sometimes. Revenge is near.
Nope not even giving this a chance, way to much WUB WUB WUB. This just feels like I should be at a bad rave party hosted in someone's parents basement, dj'ed by someones mom. If this is any indicator of the level of quality of the game it can stay in the bargain bin.
