I'm actually getting pretty excited about DMC. Sue me!
Xbros need not apply.
DMC3 forever my all time favorite PS2 game. This fucking song... and the cut scene attached to it? Fuck... Also, I gave dubstep a shot. I've given it a shot while sober, high, drunk, shroomed out. I can't get into it. It all sounds so similar when "DAH BASE DRAPS!"
1: Noisia is a trio.
2: DMC would have been better in my mind if it had zero wubs. Even though yes, you can see it working with violent gameplay... i feel that bowing to this trend cheapens the whole experience. Now i'm going to feel like i'm playing any EA game.
Which is admittedly most dubstep anyway.
Sounds like pretty much every trailer for every movie or game in the last year or so.
Meh
Let me play some Persona 4 Arena, NOPE BLAZ BLUE.

I prefer the term small minded. People either can't or refuse to grasp anything outside of their own little bubbles of "identity". I'm all for people disliking things and having opinions, but most of this just seems dismissal for dismissals purpose.
Oh, dubstep is popular? FUCK DAT SHIT.
If people had an actual grasp of why they disliked something you would think they'd be able to elaborate. I'll be the first to admit I prefer some things to others, but complete and arbitrary dismissal of anything like this is stupid. Don't like it for legitimate reasons? Fine. Don't like it because you're an immature hipster to the fads? Please leave and do something productive. These guys are talented and there's no way you can honestly prove otherwise.
You haven't seen any trailers for this game have you?
Or know the actual origin of gothic/gothic music?
FYI, it's not the kids with dark make-up that listen to Marilyn Manson.
I dislike when games include trendy music rather than music that fits the setting and tone of the game. Again, I haven't seen much of the game. Has it changed that much since the other DMC games?
It doesn't have gothic music because that wasn't the vision of the developers, they wanted it to be like this.
You don't know that, you can't talk like you created the game.
NOISIA is producing this kind of music since forever, so i can say that the developers created the game based on NOISIA's music or maybe they are fans of them, but i could be wrong.
What I find small minded is your unwillingness to just let go of the fact that not everyone shares your taste in music. You're fighting an uphill battle as a dubstep aficionado, my man. Take it from a Nintendo loyalist, people are hard to convince of something you may believe with a strong vehemence, haha.
