Let's celebrate 20 years of Super Metroid with fan art

Mar 19 // Jordan Devore    @DtoidJordan

Someone's got to

If you're counting the game's original Japanese release, it's Super Metroid's 20th birthday today!

As much as I'd be content to mope around given that Nintendo isn't doing much to please series fans right now, we should instead take this as an opportunity to celebrate the good times. And what good times they were. Game-Art-HQ has put on another one of it tributes, with art featuring the likes of Ridley, Mother Brain, Crocomire, and other familiar faces.

I can't spend the rest of today playing Super Metroid without Hamza or Dale finding out, can I?

The Game-Art-HQ Community Pays Tribute to Super Metroid. We celebrate its 20th Anniversary with our Art! [Game-Art-HQ -- Thanks, Reinhold]
