Let me tell you about my Office Space Tim Burton Final Fight MMO photo

It is customary on the Pushing Play podcast to ask their interview guest about what game they would make if they could*.  I was a guest on this week's show and my answer was a tale of failure: I was trying to create this game called "Pinkslip" ... a name that refers to this very angry office space backstory involving a distrought cubicle worker that goes into a helpless nerdy rage against those whose seemingly worthless powers control him. I'm not sure what that says about my mental health, but that's a slide of it right there.

Anyway, I had this ambitious idea to create free massive multiplayer 2D fighting MMO modelled after Final Fight and borrowing a page from Tim Burton's starved and creepy character styles ... but I can't program to save my life and the guy who was helping me code ended up marrying my other friend's ex-girlfriend and moved away.  Depressed and still fascinated with the gaming industry, I decided to set my eyes on E3 and blogging instead, and here we are. Life does that.

If you'd like to know a little more about the giant nerd that founded Destructoid that rarely comes out of his cave give the show a listen.  *Michael Patcher of not this Morgan is up next week, can't wait to see what he's gonna say!

Dude. Don't give up on your dreams.
I'm always afraid of telling others about my game ideas.. because people steal.
I wouldn't give up, dude.
Just put it somewhere where it could possibly be picked up and finished by someone.. (even yourself).

Niero this is a beautiful game idea... it would probably generate 4.5 mil first day sales and an 11/10 review. Keep with it.
