Proving that Nintendo is not running out of precious stones and minerals to name its games after, Pokemon Platinum has been revealed for -- shockingly -- the DS. Courtesy of good ol' Famitsu (the magazine that makes gamers everywhere think "I should learn Japanese"), there are even a few small images as well. Hooray!
Pokemon Platinum will be a follow-up title to Diamond and Pearl, as is typical of the Pokemon business model. It will probably sell a million billion squillion copies, because people can't get enough of their pokemans, and the subsequent showing of those pokemans.

Technology indeed!
The last "third" game I got for pokemon was yellow after I already had blue.
I've got diamond, but I doubt I'll be getting this.

Once people stop buying Pokemon games BY THE MILLION then you MIGHT see them make something different.
What minor gameplay changes will they have made this time?? Fashion shows with your pokemon?? Oh wait, thats in already....
but hey, I'm liking the rumors of Gold and Silver remakes. That's probably my favourite of the franchise.
