Lenny Kravitz and Steve Miller DLC heading to Rock Band?

Lenny Kravitz and Steve Miller DLC heading to Rock Band? photo
     Xbox 360

Lenny Kravitz and Steve Miller band are allegedly slated to be the next downloadable content packages for Harmonix’s Rock Band platform. We can’t immediately validate the content because the posting on the Rock Band official site announcing the DLC has been taken down. But, thanks to a posting on the ScoreHero message board we have two lists that look legitimate enough.

The Kravitz songs to be included in the ever-growing library January 13 are the ones you would expect:

Are You Gonna Go My Way
Freedom Train
Let Love Rule
Mr. Cab Driver

The two Steve Miller band songs to be made available on January 20 are something to behold:

Space Cowboy
The Joker

I forgot these two guys even existed, but my musical awareness has been on a rapid decline ever since I exited my mid-teens. Is anyone excited about this?

[Thanks, Andrew!]

I just got RB2 this Christmas so I really don't need new songs right now. But I'll probably at least download The Joker.

Texas Flood please. Also, some of these are already in GH:WT. Who's playing "catch up" with who now? I kid, RB seems to be better overall, but I'm sick of having the same songs in both games. Especially when it's obvious the joker should have been in RB2 instead of Bodhisattva. I guess they will never take into account that some of us own BOTH games.

i like the joker but would love to see some otis redding or gaslight anthem instead but i don't have the game and until i hear someone who i like in it, i won't get it. and AC/DC is my favorite band but i can play all the songs i like on my acoustic. still sounds good to me.

I'm stoked about the Steve Miller songs, and I love that we're getting some songs that are already in World Tour - mostly because I have no intention of ever playing World Tour again, as it pretty much sucks balls.

I'm confused. I thought Space Cowboy and The Joker were the same song.

Well now one of the few exclusive songs I liked in Guitar Hero: World Tour is coming to Rock Band. GT:WT is sad.

I really hope that 'Are you gonna go my way' has a better notechart than that artist-destroying one in GH:WT :D
