Lego lovin' Andrew and Josh strive to bring us the best of their craft - a comprehensive list of lego sites and a neverending stream of their own original creations. I recently contacted these cubists to inquire about video game projects on their site, and they have in turn responded with a comprehensive list of gaming projects you're surely to enjoy gawking with curiosity and twitchy fingers for your turn at modding some. I have a 40 pound box in my closet of Legos that is crying for a comeback having seen this... but maybe I should just stick to let the pros handle it. Andrew writes:
Given my work experience at Nintendo (2001-2003; I'm currently wearing a Super Mario Sunshine shirt left over from E3 2002 -- w00t! swag!), we've got lots of video and computer game stuff. Here are the main game-related posts I think you'll enjoy:
A batch of Zelda-related creations from around the 'net
A nice set of StarCraft vehicles by a guy named Mike Psiaki
My own Diablo II and StarCraft minifigures
My set of Final Fantasy VII characters (my proudest moment, sniff)
My one (so far; I'm replaying it right now -- 63 hours in) FF8 character, Squall:
"Brick Artist" Nathan Sawaya's next-gen controllers (via, ahem, Kotaku)
Two versions of Lara Croft, minifig-style, one by a guy from Hong Kong and one by me
Finally, one of my favorite game-inspired LEGO creations, by the guy who brought us "GTA: LEGO City"

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
