LEGOs make everything better. It doesn't make much sense that putting something into the form of a bunch of blocks would make it better, but the fact stands and it is an undeniable truth. LEGO Prince of Persia = awesome. This can clearly be seen below as Prince of Persia branded LEGOs have been announced to be released with the film.
The fellows over at Brickset are showing off the five sets that will launch with the film (the image above is from NeoGAF). They're all very Prince of Persia-y and actually look like a good bit of LEGO fun. There's Quest Against Time, Hassasins Hide Out, Fight For The Dagger, Battle of Almut and, wait for it, The Ostrich Race. Oh, that's right, it's time to race some ostriches. Hopefully that isn't a direct scene from the film, because while ostrich racing is awesome in LEGO form it would be plenty stupid in film form. I can see the screenplay now:
The Prince mounts the ostrich from behind as it has its head in the sand. The ostrich's head sticks up in surprise and looks back at The Prince who returns its surprised look with a smirk.
Prince: It's time to race... ostrich race.
Never mind, that would be awesome too.
