A long time ago, I agreed to read the Harry Potter books. I regret that decision. My brain’s corridors are now cluttered with useless Potter-related junk -- space that I could have used to memorize the latest KMFDM single or something. I’m not sure where I’m going with this (I think I just wanted to lament), but check out the above: it’s another trailer for LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4.
The title is a LEGO one, inspired by the first four bits of Potter literature. Go figure.
We still don’t know too much about this game, but we’re guessing from its look that it won’t stray too much from what developer Traveller’s Tales did with Star Wars,Indiana Jones or Batman. This isn’t a bad thing, but Potter, man. Ew.
I used to love the Lego games, but Lego Batman was a real let-down. Now you've got a pointless sequel (Indiana Jones) and a shitty skin for a music game (Rock Band). I think TT needs to take a break for a bit and try to reinvent the Lego license instead of just putting it into every contemporary film/game they can think of.
I know I shouldn't be complaining about something as trivial as this, but the Graphics look awful.
At least the backdrop of the castle at least.
However, it would be nice to play through the first four movies. First one will be pretty sweet. Although I'd just give this a rent since you can pretty much beat these games in two hours.
Well, the building-block toys for Lord of the Rings and halo weren't done by Lego, so those won't be happening. I've been waiting for this game since it was first mentioned months ago, and am eagerly awaiting March for this to be released.
Got so hooked on the Star Wars and Batman versions that I actually bought some of the toy sets for the first time in decades. Then I realized my apartment just doesn't have the room for me to collect Lego kits, so these games are a fun substitute.
This proliferation of Lego games concerns me. Seriously now, how long until we see Lego Madden or even better Lego GTA??
Enough already with making a Lego Game out of everything. Zombies became played out five years ago and we're still dealing with the same game over and over in fact the zombie genre's gotten so lame that Woody Harrelson has had time to come out of his pot induced fog and jump on the bandwagon.
Please please PLEASE tell me we won't have to endure five to ten more years of game Lego-ization. PLEASE.

I'm a grown married man, and I want no other game more, not even Mass Effect 2 (which I want with all my peepee) than this game. Stupify!
Seriously, some of you HP fans need to check your balls or at least giggle in a lower voice...
Seriously though, these Lego games are like a zen escape for me.
Lego LOTR???

Lego games are so close to being shovelware, or they alreasdy are.
(That I would actually buy, though)
