LEGO Batman site launches: A good Batman game at last? photo

Much to the delight of many, the LEGO Batman Web site is up, and ready to show that the Dark Knight can dominate the landscape as well as any Star Wars game can. Featuring character bios, Batman trivia, and even a few viewable cut-scenes from the upcoming game -- there is quite a bit to be seen. You can even read an online comic book inspired by the game itself.

If that alone isn't enough to hold you off until LEGO Batman arrives, you can try your luck at the mini-game found here. You might also want to hit up the download section, and change that lame wallpaper of yours to something a bit cooler.

If LEGO Batman turns out anything like LEGO Star Wars did (and we know it probably will), Traveller's Tales has another big hit on their hands.

[Thanks, BlindsideDork]

Awesome.

I forgot all about this game tbh.

Lego Star Wars was brilliant so i'll probably check this game out when it hits.

But will he kill people? Like the 'real' Batman would, and does? That's the question. Also, that Batman Begins game wasn't terribly lame.

BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES on SNES (not the Batman and Robin animated game, hoo lordy) was actually pretty great.

That site isn't new... it's been out (and unchanged) for over a year now. It has nothing to do with the video game, it is only about the Lego Building Sets (i.e. the plastic bricks).

Yes, the two properties are related, but there is nothing specific to the video game there.

Yeah... these videos arent for the game. It says "spring 2006" on one of them.

@jimmcq

Take another look around. You'll find videogame stuff there.

@Boris Lugosi

I guess it was decent, but it was soooo long ago. Forgive me, but I'm frustrated by how DC games and movies tend to suck so much when compared their Marvel counterparts. As a die-hard DC comics fan, it hurts man... It hurts real bad.

Yeeahhh... Not that it doesn't get me excited, but I really had my hopes set on a Lego Indiana Jones, to continue on with the Lego/Lucasarts love. I guess we'll just have to see.

And yeah, the NES game was awesome but hard as fuck.

If the best Batman game turns out to be a LEGO adventure, then so be it.
