LEGO Batman 2 gets brand-new character DLC today
Riding the wave of being the most sold game of last month, Warner Bros. has released two new character character packs today for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes in the form of "The Heroes" and "The Villains" packs. Available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, they will each cost $1.99 and add Nightwing, Katana, Shazam, Zatanna, Damian Wayne (the new Robin, Bruce Wayne's son), Bizarro, Captain Cold, Black Adam, Black Manta, and Gorilla Grodd. I haven't checked LEGO Batman 2 myself yet, but I've of course played plenty of the LEGO games and am well aware the sheer volume of characters Traveler's Tales manages to put in each of the games. I'm sure this entry is no different, so it seems strange they're adding even more characters. Maybe these ones were originally on the chopping block? At least it's only $4 to purchase all ten characters. That's doable, right? Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)They've been out since last week, but I got the villain DLC pack with my pre-order. Bought the heroes as well, as some of my fave characters are in these sets! Gorilla Gold, the horrific offspring of that one time Booster got really drunk, and Grodd just happened to be looking for something in the bottom drawer... They should add etrigan the demon and vandal savage from DEMON KNIGHTS aka THE BEST BOOK FROM THE NEW 52 Replica Watches of all world brands for sale - Replica Rolex Watches, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Cartier, Hublot Replica Watch at http://www.replicawatches-007.com online store. New 52 changed his name to Shazam. Let's geek out about games now, not comics.
I'm all for a Destructoid comic site though! The Heroes pack was given out by Gamestation as a Pre Order Bonus, in fact I have a pile of them in a drawer still at work. | 2:00 PM on 06.28.2012 Review: LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes |

LEGO games. Love 'em or hate 'em, they're not going anywhere. There's always some pop culture property out there that looks so ridiculous yet so FUN when done up in LEGO blocks. For the most part, the core gameplay has stayed the same for many of these titles; there has been little innovation or change of the tried-and-true formula. Until now. Mind you, this is both a good thing and a bad thing.more

Did you check out our preview for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes? Good, because you should also really watch the new trailer. It's not only filled with cute LEGO stuff that makes me wish for my lost childhood LEGO collection, but there's a joke near the end that made me die laughing. Wasn't expecting voice acting at all. Bravo, Warner Brothers.more
