It's really funny seeing the classic/simplistic grid-based gameplay juxtaposed with the modern graphics.
Persona 1 + Demons/Dark Souls had a kid, and they adopted The Viking/Dovahkiin.

Man, I'd love to see someone update Daggerfall with graphics like that. This looks like a lovely alternative though. Combat and puzzles look awesome. I'm sold.

DaggerXL. Yeah, I know it's just an moderinized engine, but believe me when I say that people are already working on new updated textures and such for when it gets going.
