Left 4 Dead not coming to the PlayStation 3, guaranteed this time! photo

Just in case you haven't heard, Valve's long-awaited zombie FPS Left 4 Dead is not coming to the PlayStation 3. Ain't no way, no how. Valve's Chet Faliszek has finally put paid to the rumor that L4D is coming to the PS3 with his definitive statement that will put a stop to the discussion once and for all.

"Many people say that they heard rumors that Left 4 Dead is coming to PS3, however despite telling them this isn't true they still don't believe us, what more can we say than it is not," stated Chet.

Well, that's that then. I am sure we will never, ever, ever, ever hear about L4D on the PS3 again. After all, once a story is denied, that story goes away until there's a real development. Wait ...

Considering the game will likely need a full overhaul to even be playable for more than a week, it's probably for the best. Can get rather boring as all the maps just loop.

Why would you want a fast paced fps on the PS3 anyway, it's a blu-ray player, not a games machine.

After the Team Fortress 2 DLC debacle, I would never, EVER play a Valve game on a console.

I know its not Valve's fault, but still PC is the best for Orange Box and Left 4 Dead.

As I understood it it was EA who would to the port or not, if they wanted to or not, and there's really nothing valve can do about it now that there EA's bitch.
