There are two things you need to know about this trailer for an upcoming Left 4 Dead fan film. It is sponsored heavily by Airsoft GI, a seller of airsoft paraphernalia, natch. It's even hosted on that company's YouTube page. You may think the stench of in-your-face advertising would be overwhelming, but thankfully it's not, which brings me to the second thing.
This trailer looks pretty slick. The movie was supposedly filmed over a single weekend, but with the level of polish exhibited, it doesn't feel rushed at all. Well, we'll see about that once the full movie is released. Looks promising so far, unlike that other recent zombie video project that quickly turned to crap.
Tony Ponce (aka megaStryke) is a culturally confused, Canadian-born Puerto Rican who grew up in Japan and South Florida ... yet can only speak English. The song was awesome. The actors hired to play the survivors were pretty great, too. What was with the zombie horde throwing everything over their shoulders though?

This looks GREAT! It's amazing what a little bit of vision and actual respect for the source material can do even when it doesn't have big-time funding.
