Joshua Carrafa recreates seminal album covers and music events (from 1964 to current day) through pixel art inspired by early Sierra adventure games. Each animated image is complemented by a succinct description that will help your brains learn about all the important indie rock moments that appear on the SAT. From The Beatles to Vampire Weekend, the blog covers a lot of noteworthy bands with crude yet charming GIFs.

Check it out along with Joshua's band Old Monk.
