Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Community member covah posted a C Blog yesterday that contained screens of Darth Vader and Yoda together in Soulcalibur IV on the Xbox 360. I instantly thought it was just a Photoshop and moved right along not putting much thought into it.

Well, as it turns out, the screens may be legit. Anyone can do a Photoshop, but it's pretty hard to fake a video. As you can see in the above video, (or, if you're still skeptical, you can download the HD version of this video here) that is indeed Yoda and Darth Vader fighting each other in Soulcalibur IV. Namco has stated in the past that Vader and Yoda could come out onto the Xbox 360 and PS3 as DLC and it looks like it might actually happen.

We'll have to wait to hear the official word from Namco of course before we know for sure if Darth and Yoda will be downloadable onto the two consoles. And for how much, if anything.

Probably an intentional leak, guessing the sales were getting to one sided for some people.

The PS3 version is clearly superior as they have the same sound package and the PS3's box art is better. So it's not surprising that way more people would want that version.

On a serious note, I wonder how much the sales will swing toward 360 once word gets around that both characters are in both versions of the game.

eeeew DLC, You can buy a game then buy more stuff with real money within the game. I never really like that idea, I would rather work hard in the game and unlock something cool. Not get five dollars from yard work and buy it.

HA! I was right for once in believing something was real!

Anyways, there's now a rumor from an employee of a certain game store going around the Soul Calibur Universe message board that both Microsoft and Sony reps confirmed that the last extra character will be unlocked with a completed game save of the Force Unleashed, the same way that you unlocked Hitomi in DOA2U by having a DOA3 or DOAXVB save on your Xbox.

Kinda pissed that there's no such thing as an exclusive anymore.

But at the same time I'm happy because I get an extra character with the game

Has anyone seen the video that shows off all the characters' critical finisher moves. Vader, Yoda, and the Secret Apprentice's all kick so much ass. Also Hilde.

As a Star Wars fanatic I sure hope this is true. When I heard that the PS3 was getting Darth Vader I was a little sad inside. Now the spark of hope has been reignited in my heart. Thank you Namco.

When are people going to realize that exclusives only come from 1st parties these days?

Additionally, when are Sony fanboys going to quit bitching and realize that Sony has more 1st party studios than MS, which means they will still have more exclusives?

It's like hearing a friend bitch about not getting herpes because the girl he would have gotten them from was hot.

If the character (Yoda or Vader)is not unlockable, it would be great if the character came on the Unleashed disc as an update.
