Leaked vid shows The Saboteurs pre-order blade in action
Today, spies slipped me an unreleased promo trailer that shows off The Sabotuer's pre-order item -- a Nazi dagger -- in action. From GameStop.com: Reserve your copy of The Saboteur today and make your enemies die at the blade of their own steel with an exclusive Nazi knife, stolen from your enemies. This in-game weapon gives you the ultimate revenge with a silent and swift execution maneuver. The Saboteur hits shelves on December 8. As for why I'd imagine this trailer was never officially released, I don't know how well throat slicing goes over with the ESRB. In regards to the game itself, it's odd how quiet EA's been when it comes to Pandemic's game. The December 8 release date seems even a bit more odd if you ask me, pushed out there in the no man's land between Thanksgiving and Christmas. But from those who've seen the game in action, I've heard nothing but good things. So consider it officially on my radar; is it on yours? Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Wow, an exclusive wooden bat for preordering Left 4 Dead 2 and now an exclusive knife for Saboteur. I've got my hopes up for a future exclusive in-game paper clip or stapler. Wow this is what its come to for special edition stuff? lamest....shit....evar. I'd take a production art book or a soundtrack CD over stuff like this anyday. So its a knife that you steal from your enemies, who presumably you would be fighting throughout the entirety of the game. You mean to tell me that the only way Hugo fucking Stiglitz can get a knife off of one of his numerous enemies is by pre-ording?
