Yesterday, Jim gave you screencaps of the trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV, but now we have the real thing. Have you seen it yet? It's...it's beautiful! It's everything I hoped it would be.
Of course, as is the case with all teasers these days, there's nothing in the way of gameplay, but there's plenty left to go on here beyond that. There's SMT II-looking characters, arm computers, castles, that apocalypse-type setting, and a f*ckton of crosswalks. Also, Japanator is guessing that we might have a female main character.
The big takeaways are that it's a handheld title and it is coming in 2013. Not new information, but more exciting now that we've seen something of it.
Let's hope that we see more of this at Tokyo Game Show next month.
