- Jungling is completely screwed up.
- Volibear is an OP-rapetrain-mess.
These changes make me sincerely question whether Riot tests their patches out at all before they release them.
(A few other random annoying bugs have been spotted too, such as the unconfirmed Shaco Jitb crash.)
Haven't had much sight of Volibear at all; the only one I saw wasn't doing so hot. But that may be because he was jungling and I was 12/2 my first time playing Fizz.
Wtf?
I know it's not a LoL specific image, but it has a bear in it fighting. 'Nuff said >=(
Hell, I'll buy a bear.
Now sivir on the other hand is op with the new over haul. Pushes lanes like a boss and with a lot harrasment. Good chaser also
The new jungle seems to have missed it's mark. Sure, its easier for newbies without runes to jungle, and it's much harder to flat out die to the mobs if you make a mistake on your first run. But after that first run, its non stop farming. No time to gank, constantly racing to not fall behind in levels. Counter-jungling is worthless because camps respawn so fast and count for so little xp. Dragon and Baron are both buffed, so controlling them happens later in the game. Riot says they want aggressive play, but nerf the most aggressive part of the current meta into a passive farm-fest. If they want to force a big shift in the metagame, they'll get one with the current jungle, but I can't see it being more exciting or dynamic than the old jungler ganks.
Jungling was never that difficult for level 30s with proper runepages. The changes weren't for them, though. The changes were for two main reasons; to decrease the difficulty of jungling for lower-level players to the point it was feasible, and to make lane ganking less predictable. I really support what they were TRYING to do with the patch, I just think they completely fucked up the balance of it.
