As you can see, Destructoid is in the process of replacing all material to do with the hypothetical game that doesn't exist yet, Sonic Unleashed, with a song about two priests and a lovely horse. This is because we hate getting sued and Sega's legal department probably won't take us to court over horse songs.
 
If anybody would like to now question whether all those images and that gameplay video were fake or not, please GTFO. Not that I'm going to say this confirms anything. Can I say that? Probably not.
 
Also, while I've got your attention Sega, what gives!? I've been trying to talk to you guys all week about setting up one of us with a review copy of Viking and I didn't get a single reply. Must we poor and simple indie bloggers break copyright law to get games publishers to talk to us these days? Well ... I'm hurt. From the bottom of my heart, I am hurt, and I want an apology card. With a balloon. And a copy of Viking.
 
I wrote all those posts while dying of flu, too, and they've had to be scrapped. That deserves a balloon. I don't know why I bother ...

It seems the entire game industry has gone insane lately. EA claims to be nice while trying to buy everyone up still, Nintendo attempts the internet again, a Bioshock MMO discussed, Jack Thompson created a Dtoid account...

I don't quite get the logic behind this. If anything, this rekindled people's interest in a franchise that has been gang raped and beaten to death with rotting horse carcasses.

And considering how much the Sonic franchise has screwed its fans over the years, I liken it to making the Hitler 'stache trendy again.

Why would they object to all the good publicity and feedback?

I've always loved the first one, you would think it would get back to SEGA at some point. Seriously they should take the advice in that first YTMND. Although crude it, there are some solid points made. Hope they cheer you up Sterling. Sega has no idea what it's doing PR wise or game wise, fuck those cunts.

@ Remz ..If someone leaves their front door key in the door and you open it regardless of whether it's stupid or not it's still technically illegal to take all their stuff. (The files were on a private FTP that they left the login information lying around for.)
