This viral ad is for Tekken 6. It features women in their underwear fighting for some reason. It has something to do with Tekken 6, I guess.
I’m all for foxy boxing, but I can’t help but feel this ad is a little offensive towards women. The tag line for these virals ads are “What will you fight for?” Apparently, these women will fight for shoes. Regardless, there’s some skin in this video and everyone on the Internet are perverts anyway so enjoy!
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

@linuxguy... some women might be offended that half naked women are being used to sell a game to men - the assumption of course being that men are stupid and will buy pretty much anything if it's sold by half naked women.
...Technically, men should be upset because the assumption is that they are stupid.... though women might want to be treated as stupid too and if the devs thought of us as equals, maybe they'd have thrown a hunky half naked guy into the ad.
For myself... I have to admit that I'm a bit offended that the assumption seems to be that only men will buy and play the game... why else would their ad be so focused on that demographic. It's almost like they don't want women buying and playing Tekken.
Anyone who thinks this is offensive needs to take a good, close look at what happens to a lot of people on Black Friday. This video is nothing in comparison.
No, this is not offensive. Reality can be far more offensive.
I have NEVER Fought someone over shoes or clothes, niether in my undies lol But I would Love to fight the maker of this commercial in a Tekken match and watch them squirm as I beat them soooooo hard. =)
I've been an avid fan of the Tekken series since it became! So I agree with Elsa on both of the comments =P
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The only feminists who get upset by this kind of stuff are the ones who are jealous that they aren't pretty enough to be in these kinds of videos.

Get over it.

The same tag line as Dissidia Final Fantasy.
Who'd thought.
