Latest screens and trailer for Banjo-Tooie XBLA excite photo

You know what today is, don't you? An average, boring Wednesday. But exactly one week from now? Why that's the day Banjo-Tooie comes out on Xbox LIVE Arcade, of course.

At 1200 Microsoft Points, I can understand how some of you might be hesitant to purchase the game, especially if you already own the N64 cartridge. Still, there are a couple of enticing reasons out there, like full support for Stop 'N' Swop, an improved draw distance, and a smoother frame rate.

Or, if you're a competitive prick like I can be from time to time, there's always the online leaderboards to look forward to. Rare has given us a few screenshots and a trailer for Banjo-Tooie, which should bring back both the happy and painful (see: Saucer of Peril) memories.

I can't wait to play this again. I'll probably get it closer to summer break, so I have something to do.

GLEEEEEEEEEE!

Everyone needs to buy this. Collectathons may have gone out of style, but this is still a fantastic game that's even better than it's predecessor.

I miss this game. Should I buy it again... or just plug my N64 back in?

I'm hoping Amazon's XBLA store will have this for $10 instead of $15, like it's doing with Flock! I think I'll just wait until then since I could easily just play an HD version of this using Project64 on my PC.

Can't wait to see how Stop n' Swop works. And this looks amazing. I'm buying both of the XBLA games and not gonna bother with Nuts & Bolts. Hopefully others do the same so we get a true B-K3.

I really didn't like Tooie the most recent time I played it, but this trailer has got me psyched for all the things I did love about the game as a kid! I think next week i'll be downloading both this and Banjo Kazooie for the Xbox, just for Stop-n-Swap awesomeness! My curiosity requires it.

I just finished Banjo Kazooie the other week and got all the Stop 'n Swop eggs, so this will be a must buy.

1200 points is a bit too much, how about knocking down a couple hundred points? Although the stop and swap feature is cool. I did get a vague understanding of the features thanks to game shark on the N64 version.

I'm so looking forward to it. I never got to play it on the N64.

I played this game on my N64 on and off for about 2 years. Can't wait.
