Hot damn if that doesn't look sweet. This new trailer for RAGEshows segments of a mission to disrupt the bomb making capabilities of a group called "The Shrouded." There's a brief bit of rather exciting vehicle gameplay shown before going in to the enemy lair, guns a-blazing.
It's when the toys start coming out two minutes into the video that I get giddy. Watch how the Sentry Bot navigates over terrain in the most direct path towards an enemy, even killing one guy by hopping on to him from the box the poor bloke was using for cover. Persistent, deadly and the tiniest bit creepy, just the way I like my robots.

I know you guys need money from advertising companies and such, but at least make them with the power to be muted please. All ranting and joining in aside, I hope RAGE is awesome, because it looks freaking awesome (based on the outside sources).
the way destructoid handles videos is super annoying. I don't want to watch an ad for every video! And if i want to re watch said video i have to re watch the ad.
IGN is the worst site for advertisements, and even they don't make you watch an ad for every single video.
After seeing it on gametrailers.com I must say it looks fun. I just hope the AI isn't so lame. Honestly, the guy was standing in the wide open and the AI was barely shooting at him at all lol. Minor gripe considering there will probably be different difficulty settings. Gameplay looks sick with the turrets and RCXD.
Some of the screen effects kinda irk me a bit, like the blur when taking damage (in the previous video a while back, there was this slime stuff that looked pretty iffy), and the blood looks a bit off too. Saying that, I loved the water effect -kinda reminded me of Metroid Prime - and overall it looks fantastic. Lots of options in combat, the driving looks damn fun, cool guns. Looking forward to picking it up!
