Or, you know, just siccing the rats on them. That'd probably work too."
Except it wouldn't, because the rat, bomb, possession combo looks like it'll be a clean kill to multiple people instantly, the rat swarm only took out 2 guys and caused a big fucking commontion while it was doing so.
But the point is that these combo's are possible. They didn't create set-pieces, they just created the rules, breaking them in every way possible is the players job...
Couldn't be more keen for this game!
yeah, and cocks.
Because like I reckon you're like many gamers: talk the big 'un online about 'creative' this and 'art form' that, but you won't buy a fucking thing without a big name behind it and you get right in line for a good old game about murdering with the rest of us.
I only buy indie games and pirate the rest and don't give a fuck about shooting/killing games. I kind of grew out of that some years ago with Doom and Duke Nukem. The only big name game I have really enjoyed since GTA SA is Skyrim, and fuck me if I'd pay for that Steam forced update shite.
But not to worry, fail is frequent when you assume you know somebody.
Feel free to continue lining up for simulated murder, i assure you it is much tastier than the real thing. Just don't wonder why there are more and more "normal" people in the news going on killing sprees. No, for sure these games don't affect you , even if you're 16 and you play every night on drugs. And of course nobody does that, because we live in such a healthy society.
Glass of milk?
Good times.
@Twosixteen that would make sense considering that Harvey Smith, one of the lead designers was a level and creative designer for the Dark Project, as well as Deus Ex and System Shock.
Also I think we should be honored that Jaguarnaut took time out of his busy schedule to tell us how wrong we are for liking a piece of violent fiction. As the Medic from Team Fortress 2 would say "Thank you......jerkoff."
If you are 16 and spend many hours every night getting stoned and playing some psycho shooter game, how does this affect your psychoogy?
When I did that with GTA SA , which isn't particularly psycho, I was a lot older than 16 and I can tell you that walking around the city and police felt very different for several weeks during this period.
Let's face it, every knows the ratings are just there to maintain a thin veneer of legitmiacy, all video games including adult -rated stuff are played widely by under-age people.
How much do we understand about the psychology of entrainment when playing 3D games, the de-sensitization to violence and psychopathic behaviour, the getting used to shove or shoot anything and anyone that stands in your way?
If you watch Breaking Bad , in the last episode there's a scene where dad and older son are sitting in the living room with the baby all watching Scarface, the shootout at the end. Both of the guys are having a great time and are totally oblivious to how fucked up this is.
Hell, if torture , psychopathy and murder has become what we enjoy watching and re-enacting the most in our life-like games and movies, what the fuck does that say about us and our culture ???
Tin Man, you fail .

1/10 - trying too hard
Jaguarnaut
Yes I am being deadly serious. The guy who killed all those people in Sweden was playing CoD to train himself. THAT douche canoe is named Anders Behring Breivik in case you missed it."
That guy did´nt kill anyone in sweden. Not one single person.
Shows how much you know..
He did murder alot of young people in norway though.
And he was a known psycho and a neo nazi. Videogaming had nothing to do with him killing all those poor kids.
Stop talking crap
Also, putting people in the way of there own bullets was just awesome. I will be having a lot of fun with that particular ability.
God i love gaming.
