Another day, another teaser trailer for the Games Workshop-inspired sports game Blood Bowl. So far we've seen greenskins, dwarves, humans and Chaos. Today we get a little taste of Lizardmen and Skaven.

This game has serious potential, but so far we've only really seen pre-rendered footage. It's hard to get a football game wrong, but studios are capable of anything, so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Something along the lines of Mario Strikers, but with more bipedal rats, should be perfect.

Hopefully we get some in-game footage in the near future to at least convince me the game's going to be as fun as these trailers promise.

For the first time in my life, I'm actually kind of interested in Blood Bowl.

Ditto KMCC.

I would play Skaven in an update of Mutant League Football.

So excited.

Very interested in seeing what's inside the box though - like board games from the 80's. The box top was always over the top awesome, while the contents varied greatly.

example:

(though the game was amazing, even if all skill was dice related)

I can't wait! I'm been playing BB for the last 8 years, the last 2 playing online at fumbbl.com with the Javabowl application.

Just not sure what system to buy it for. I only have a PS3. Guess I'll finally have to buy the PSP although I've been bumming one for the last 4 months.

It may not be popular (saleswise) but anything 'Warhammer-bases' has always been good, it has such an organic theology. Not really sure what that means but it is all I can think of.

kinda makes you wonder....why hasn't EA brought the Mutant League franchise back from the dead with todays technology?...

after watching the video I had flashbacks to playing Pigskin Football on the Genesis lol
