But there's no flash cards that allow you to play 3DS games, right?
If you wanted to pirate old DS games you could probably just do that on PC with an emulator, or buy a second hand DS + old flash card...
Here's something to ponder:
Nintendo is constantly pushing flash card manufacturers to improve their tech, so when the hackers actually find a way to bypass 3DS security measures the flash cards may evolve so far as to become virtually unblockable. Kind of like what we have with antibiotics and the super-resistant bacteria right now.

There are (were) plenty of flash cards that play 3DS games. There are still at least two, but this firmware breaks a lot of them.
