While I tend to prefer the Humble Bundle's selections of titles, I can't argue with this. Besides, Indie Royale gave us Explodemon.
The way I imagine this bundle is I can pay $5 for a really good chiptunes album and then get some games for free with it.
It's official. I got everything I want out of these bundles. This is the fourth one in a row that doesn't interest me at all. Of course, this is half because I got myself on an indie kick and started buying all the good indie games out right. If 'Lone Survivor' or 'To the Moon' ever end up in a bundle, you bastards are in for some treats.
Naw, I'm not tired of discounts on games - even if I don't get them every time. I was thinking about checking out Gorg when it came out. I also like Diablo clones so I'll check out Depths of Peril too.
Okay, I bought and played some Depths of Peril. Definitely fun. At its heart, it's a shameless Diablo clone, but it adds a bunch of neat strategic and diplomatic elements to it. You run your own group, you compete against other groups, you can fight and even kill other groups, you compete for quests and recruits, etc. I wish someone like Blizzard would try something like this. With their polish....
I really wish there was a way to apply the indie bundle buisness model to console games. It obviously works because Sony and microsoft would demand a cut, this making it unprofitable. But it would be great to have something like these on xbl
