Nippon Ichi and Hitmaker have kept close wraps on their upcoming PS3-exclusive action RPG Last Rebellion. Sure, we've seen a few screens and learned a bit of information, but most of it is still a mystery.

This new trailer doesn't help things much. It's still pretty great though. In typical Japanese trailer style, it does some character introduction, shows some game footage, and is set to a crazy Japanese song. The narration is in English, though.

I love trailers like this. There's sparkles, wispy hair, fire and magic, and then it all ends in a crescendo, making you want to play a game you know nothing about. Worked on me!

The music in this is kickass, seriously. I hope the whole soundtrack is like that.

Cool to see NIS trying some new stuff, breaking out of their 2D stuff. Sure, their 2D stuff was awesome, but they were going to have to try 3D sometime.

The art, atleast for the trailer, is what pulls me in, too bad it's PS3-exclusive. Would love more RPG's for the 360. Still, looks good though. Hope you PS3 owners enjoy it.

yeah the graphics kinda remind me of the Shinmegaten games on ps2... That being said, have been craving more rpgs on the PS3 so, still interested.

That is some kick-ass music. I see that there's dual-wielding...

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this. First of all, the characters don't look like a bunch of whiny girly guys from Final Fantasy. What initially caught my eye, though, was that the art looked reminiscent of Shin Megami Tensei.

Japanese RPGs need to step out of their mold.
