With the release of Aaron Linde's Bonerquest, what is your preferred method for ending it all? Would you rather jump into a cage of lions, throw an Atari in the bathtub with you, or go on an insane shooting spree culminating in police-assisted suicide and blame it all on GTA?
Also, will you have a boner during such an act?
2. With so much attention being focused on multiplayer for games these days, I would like an answer to this. Obviously having multiplayer increases replay value, and helps sales, but, Aaron, can multiple people quest for the Boner at the same time? Would they quest for each others Boner? Your thoughts?
What was the worst game you played of the year yet you saw the most potential in and than because of that were more disappointed in it?
What popular game of the year did any of you guys hate the most?
Of the past few years what was the best year in gaming and why?

Can't really think of any conclusion-y end of the year questions right now, so I hope you all have a happy new year and what have you. Oh, and good luck on your individual bonerquest.
I remember as 2008 rolled in, people were speculating at what a fantastic year it would be for gamers everywhere. Granted there are a few wonderful games that came out this year, but given all the hype that was buzzing about at the start, why do we all feel so let down?
Are we gluttons for disappointment, or do we buy too heavily into PR bullshit?
Is the gaming industry losing its focus with their hype heavy pre-release marketing that they forget to focus on what's really important (i.e. gameplay that's fun)?
Perfect examples of this potential fault include Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia, and even a silly game like Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Hell... even Sega did it to a degree with Sonic Unleashed.
Is it time to tell the developers to get in the kitchen... err... studio and make us some games?
What do you think of Chad's amazing double dribble speak? It was so awesome, I had to use it at every chance I could. For some reason it loops like thirty times when you stay at an inn. I find that hilarious, but I guess some people found it annoying.
What do you guys think of that? That Double Dribble speak is now in a game. Even one as underground and "indie" as Bonerquest. Is Bonerquest an indie game? Am I now a developer? Does that mean I should get a booth at E3 with full one eyed monster foam costumes?
Also Bonerquest 2: Origins and Bonerquest 3: Requiem For Redemption are confirmed in development.

I was thinking about the chances of apple getting into the games industry some how, and I was wondering how you guys feel if Apple merged/aquired PC gaming's white knight, valve? I mean Steam is kinda like iTunes. Imagine Valve's might with Apple's marketing... Good or bad?
Is there a new/improved game mechanic this year that you hope will be picked up in future games?
Also, can you talk about how utterly disappointing Nintendo was this year? WiiWare started with a few pretty brilliant games, and proceeded to fill up with more puzzle and throw away games than a mobile phone app store. Not to start a fanboy war, but Nintendo has earned their lampooning this year.
Also, has BonerQuest lived up to the original vision set forth by lead designer Aaron Linde?
Even games that rate a nine get the backlash now. I played GTA 4 and thought it was a full realization of the serise's ambitions using the euphoria and RAGE engines to provide a constantly unique experience with a storyline that actually made you feel the heft of your moral decisions in a way no other game has before but apparently because it didn't give some guy on the internet a blowjob while it did it it's the "worst game evar".
Was 2008 really a disapointment or was it the year of the whiney bitch?
Linde are you in talks with Random on merchandising and advertising? Or maybe in talks with Greenhouse Games for distribution?

In other words, everyone is anticipating Aaron Linde's complete mental breakdown during this upcoming episode. Please do not disappoint.

What was the most relevant news of 2008 each of you read/wrote?
For example, one of my major gripes is the voice commentary thats done with all of these games. Over time, it becomes bland and repetitive. I personally would not mind spending 200 M$ points for a thousand or so extra lines of dialogue.

They could add some sort of pun to the dialogue. " In Preventing softcore gamers, Bonerquest shoots a load of Action packed mess all over your face"
and how does Aaron feel that everything he has done this year has been overshadowed by one thing?

On a more serious note, what do you think about Left 4 Dead's versus mode no longer having an expert difficulty? What's up with that?
second: i brought the missing podcasts to your attention and i have a theory. Linde is SO hell bent on erasing his connections to Bonerquest, the monkey/theatre jerk off a thon, and well ect. So he has somehow cause all the previous episodes to disappear from itunes. three words Linde "Resistance is futile."

Like this time around we got, variously: HD graphics, surround sound, motion sensitivity, wi-fi connections, BD games etc. What do you think we might see next time round?
Also, will we be seeing a remake of that clasic prequel which spawned a franchise, BonerTrip? At the very least, they could port the original to the Virtual Console! I'd prefer a remake though, as the original was insanely difficult.
