Last chance to sign up for the Good Old Games early access beta photo

What, don't tell me you've forgotten about CD Projekt's upcoming DRM-free classic PC game platform, Good Old Games. Long story short, the service is looking very promising, and if you sign up before September 7 at midnight, you'll gain access to the beta.

Beta invites will be sent all throughout next week and will allow you to buy games (about 30 titles will be available initially), join the GOG community, and write reviews, if you so desire.

Best of all, if you do end up purchasing a DRM-free title, CD Projekt is throwing in a code that's good for one free Interplay game of your choosing. Count me in!

I signed up for GOG months ago. I can't wait to get some of these hard to find games back on my PC

This is a very neat idea! I wonder what they will end up costing...

@ArrestedDev

How is Fallout compared to Fallout2? I have the 2nd one...

That's totally my plan! @ ArrestedDeveloper

I've been "not-playing" it now but I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the GOG release. I seem to check their site every day waiting for it to open.

Sept 8!!! Less than a week now weee!

The beta lets us buy the games? Damn. Money troubles make choosing games heartbreaking. I would love being able to actually run Planescape:Torment on my computer though.

None of the games pictured are "old" by my standards.

@mix

9.99 and 5.99 are what they are charging. From some screenshots of the site, it looks like they'll be charging 5.99 for some excellent titles (aka Fallout and Fallout 2). We'll see how the pricing actually works out once it's up and running though.

Hell yes. I was afraid that I was gonna have to install yet another app besides steam but it looks like it's all browser based, which is very smart. That way I can just buy the games there and add them to my steam list. I'm very pumped for this service.
