The new Lara Croft model, Alison Carroll, has two ridiculously large assets – beauty and grace. Those two things serve her spectacularly well when the camera is rolling, but they don’t help when an interviewer starts asking questions about Lara Croft’s subject matter, archaeology.
At a recent photo event, a Danish news reporter was able to sit down with Carroll for a video interview. Unfortunately, the questions the interviewer began asking were unknown by both Carroll and her publicist. It led to a hilariously uncomfortable interview. She even missed the joke question of “was it you or Indiana Jones who found the Holy Grail?”
While there probably isn’t any redemption on the horizon, at least Carroll can take solace in the fact that her being a model means that she doesn’t need to know the answers to the interviewer’s questions. Although, I think if Lara Croft was presented with that situation she would have just kicked the dude in the face instead of trying to be polite.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
As far as the news item, why would an interviewer be asking her archaeology questions anyway? It's obvious she's just a poster girl.
Good thing I scrolled down instead of struggling with the title or else I would have been stumped all night.
ShadowkatRegn has a good point.
I still think that if she's representing the product she should know a little more it and it's subject matter. but it's still hard to argue with her more noticeable assets
They're nerds. What do you expect?
Women V_V
She's gorgeous, and happens to resemble a famous character. Obviously -- in her case -- it's enough.
Wait, you're on a video game blog that worships a giant green robot head and cocks, and you just called someone a nerd?
Um...damn LOL. CRAZY amounts of irony.
I didn't say I wasn't.
not that there's anything wrong with that (it's not classy, but not wrong), but GEEZUS there MUST BE MORE..>RIGHT!?!?
No. And there doesn't need to be any reason.
Now, please go away. Go make up some Final Fantasy theories or something.
:)
It's a good job people can make a living by having their photo taken, daft cow.
