You know, for some reason my mind completely failed to register 'Lara Croft' saw the letter 'L' and the word Guardian and thought we were talking about The Last Guardian.
I am disappoint.

Do they seriously think the Tomb Raider name still holds enough weight to command the premium download price of $15?

Six hours of gameplay for $15 doesn't sound too bad to me. Thanks to Keir for taking the time to hang out on the forums and answer any questions the community has!

OMG WTF ARE EIDOS DOIN THEIR SUHC A BUNCH OF CU...

Oh hang on, I work for Eidos.

To answer a couple of points - Lelis, Crystal are currently working on two projects. This one isn't TR9 but something new and different.

The co-op is a ton of fun and you can get more than six hours out of it I should say.

@Tomasz, I didn't explicitly say that ;P But as Crystal D Studio Manager Darrell Gallagher recently said in an interview with Gamasutra: "What I can say is Tomb Raider, as a franchise, is absolutely part of the Crystal fabric"

I feel as if Naughty Dog should buy up the Tomb Raider franchise, seeing as how they did with uncharted, they could easily make a good game out of Lara Croft, heck maybe put Drake and Lara in the same game?

Yep. Legend, Anniversary and Underworld have all been highly rated and commercially successful.

Alright Keir you have my attention with the co-op nature of this game. I'm always looking for stuff i can sit down and play with friends. Is this going to be like TR?? or is it going to be more action based with fighting the main focus? And i hope to god you people are making this playable on one screen or it will get a big fat NO vote from my wallet.

Yep online and offline co-op, and it's on one screen, Producemonkey.

It's kinda like you might be expecting, balance with puzzles and combat. The co-op is actually a ton of fun because it adds a whole new dimension to the puzzles (and you can also stitch the other person up).

I wonder if they will screw up with some animations like in the other TR's...
Because the swan dive in TRU was HORRIBLE, and when Lara gets out of water, she flies... anyway Good Luck for them while making the game (Or if finished it though)...
