This weekend in Louisville Kentucky, Lanwar is having its 10 year anniversary and its 40th event. The event itself is already sold out to game, but it is in fact open and free to the public to attend.
Your very own Orcist "Grim" Orcistman, Joe "Buck Fitches" Burling, and Ron "Insert joke here" Workman will be covering the event, and possibly be arrested for undisclosed reasons. But, you are asking "Hey Ron, I need more details and also, why do I ask myself questions outloud?":
Time: Starts at 11 am Saturday and ends Sunday at 4 pm -- 30 straight hours of Gaming!
Place: On the University of Louisville campus at the Student activity center in Louisville Kentucky.
Games: Team Fortress 2 5v5, Unreal Tourney 3, WoW: Leveling contest, Warcraft 3 TFT, Track Mania, Duck Tape Wars, Texas Hold'em, and Quake 1.
For any other questions, be sure to check out the FAQ page on the Lanwar Web site. Be sure to shoot me an e-mail with your username if you will be at the event too.
Quite the manly name if I do say so myself.
That picture is so freaking awesome. Topher, did you do that?
I mean... It kinda sorta sucks here.
And for once in my life, I wish I lived at Abe Lincoln's boyhood home. Hodgenville is close to Louisville, right?
