You know who knows how to make a good trailer? Sega. Like this one for Yakuza 4 which goes over biographical details and combat skills for the four main characters. The guy who does the voice-over is excellent, offering a nice bit of character to what is so often presented in either a dry or ridiculous manner. It's just a lovely little package and hits all the right notes in getting me teased up for the game.
And Yakuza 4 is out on March 15th? That soon?! I have clearly not been paying attention. I'm going to have to get Yakuza 3 played pretty damn quick.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
For the people who haven't played the first two PS2 Yakuza games, Yakuza 3 starts with some thorough recaps with movies of the first two games so you can start the series from number 3. Don't know if these will be present in Yakuza 4 as well. At this point Yakuza 3 is pretty cheap so I'd recommend anyone to pick it up. A lot of warmth, humour, great characters, literally over 100 sidequests, minigames like fishing, golf, darts, snooker, arena fighting, secret bosses and unlockable moves and weapons etc. It was great value for money for a single player game and I played it for over 80 hours.
Bring Yakuza 4 on!
You don't need to play the previous games to enjoy this one. They usually provide a short video synopsis of the plot of the previous games that get you up to speed.
Plus, every iteration is a vast improvement over the previous one so I would strongly suggest skipping out on the first two games since the 3rd game and this new one will save you from some unnecessary time wasting elements found the PS2 games.
Should I get a ps3?"
Yes. I did. DC Universe online made me want to, but this game make me even more happier i bought one.
i guess i'll buy buy both Yakuza 3 and 4 huh? arghh i still need to buy Hyperdimension Neptunia and Atelier Rorona not to mention the new Ar Toncelico coming out and Marvel vs Capcom 3. im gonna be broke :(
Edit
As for Yakuza 4, I will buy this the day it's released.
