If Europe get's Koei's uncensored version, would it be possible to just create a PAL PSN account and get that one? I've never tried such a thing, but I know I've snagged a few Japan-only things with my JPN account (thank you based region freeness).
I remember being the only one of my friends who loved this more than Phantom Brace, Makai Kingdom, and all the Disgaea's. Great game.
a) Why would SCEA publish an out-of-region PS2 classic? The only out-f-region Classic game I know of is (PS1) Mickey's Wild Adventure (yeah, right, PS1 Imports) which they announced and then didn't release.
b) SRPG. bleah. I'm playing Front Mission 3 on my PSP, but it's the only SRPG I've been able to get into so far (and I'm trying to think about when I actually started playing VIDYA GAMEZ, I'm damn close to my 30th anniversary). I pirated Final Fantasy Tactics back when the PS1 was my main machine, and I've hated SRPGs ever since. There's a JP PSP game that's both Rhythm game and Date Sim; the only thing worse could be adding a SRPG element.

Basically all Christian imagery was removed, namely depictions of the cross on character sprites, animations, and and scenery. Also some terminology was altered, such as changing "Hell" to "Dark World".

@HEL105 - Strange, I feel the same way. I feel it's because La Pucelle has great gameplay that didn't seem to demand you to give up a bajillion hours to play it: something that Disgaea seems to be really proud of but is also potentially a turn-off for some. 10 years ago I might have absolutely adored that thought but I'm a working guy... I want SRPGs and Guild Wars 2 and random shit on Steam and read books and go to places with my girlfriend and work to pay for all the shit I mentioned.

Well that is the cutest little nun uniform ever. Bummer we are getting the "censored" version, though I wonder if that is self-censorship in the interest of not offending potential buyers, rather than outside censorship imposed by an external body. Almost certainly it is not true censorship which is imposed by the government, which crosses on a sexy skirt does not censorship in the US make, nor use of the word "hell" in a game.

PS, localize La Pucelle: Ragnarok for PSP, as it has the actual canon ending and the states/europe never got to see it.

Please let us know if the uncensored version is the one they put up. If it is, then this would be worth a repurchase, and then more purchases for everyone else I know. Otherwise... still an awesome game, but no reason to rebuy.

Other accounts are actually no problem. I am located in Germany and I have a US and a UK account in additon to the German one. You only have to get store credits for the region you intend to purchase the game in. Ebay helps.
