You won't need to sit down for this one, as it should come as no surprise -- Rockstar Games' L.A. Noire is no longer a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
The title, which will be revealed in full in the next issue of Game Informer, is now confirmed to be coming to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The info comes from Game Informer writer Matthew Kato, who in a comments thread on the magazine's Web site responded to questions regarding exclusivity.
"It's not a PS3-exclusive," he writes. "It was at one point, but it's coming out for the PS3 and 360."
The issue should be hitting mailboxes and store shelves soon, and I can't wait. The entire staff at Game Informer seems pretty amped up about what they've either seen or read... even if it's probably not coming to the iPad.

I'd bet since it's no longer a PS3 exclusive a PC port is inevitable. I mean since you're not getting paid to keep it exclusive anymore why wouldn't you?

Knowing nothing about either game = can't determine that the PS3 exclusive will be better.
Why does Rockstar owe Sony an exclusive anyway? Did they have to break an exclusivity deal for GTA? Otherwise they shouldn't owe Sony anything for doing what's best for their game's sales.

Sure it's pretty easy to port to the PC, I mean 360. But the other way round is where devs have trouble.

Sorry to burst your fanboy bubble, but the PS3 has BOTH games. Just because LA Noire isn't a PS3 exclusive doesn't mean the PS3 doesn't "have" it.
Either way, I get to play both. I'll buy Agent for my PS3 and LA Noire for my 360 (because that's where I prefer my multi-plats).
We haven't heard anything for the last 3-4 years about this game. Nobody has given two shits about it until maybe 2 weeks ago. For years when Sony fans have mentioned it, 360 fans have accused it of being vaporware. When 360 fans have mentioned it, Sony fans claim it will be the greatest thing ever (even though nobody has even really seen anything about it).
Now it's multi-platform. Oh. My. God. 360 fans can now admit that this is their most anticipated game to finally go multi-plat. Sony fans can now say that LA Noire doesn't matter anymore (not that it did to begin with) and that 360 fans get nothing special.
Wii fans sit and wait for Xenoblade.

As for it being in color, rather than B&W, I think they're going for a "Chinatown" look (set in LA, pastel colors) but haven't quite pulled it off.
We knew it was a multiplatform 8 months ago.

Yeah. This seems to be the way shit goes down whenever a console loses an exclusive. Except for Wii fanboys. I don't think they really care.
Microsoft on the other hand does the opposite...spends a lot of money to devs for timed exclusivity while they don't fund so much to their own devs...thus we see more and much better in quality Ps3 first party exclusives games lately
Still, happy I'll get to play it. Until I get a PS3, I hope all these games change teams (I'm looking at you, 3D Dot Game Heroes).
Then you wouldn't mind if the 360 exclusives jump ship too right?
