While at the Tokyo Game Show, I spied the very first evidence of a Bayonetta collectible at the Square Enix booth, as you may recall if you saw the post. I liked what I saw, but I had a strong feeling I was going to see more interpretations of the lovely lady before the game hit retail shelves, and sure enough, I was right.
Kotobukiya has exclusively shared with Tomopop the first announcement that they will also be releasing a Bayonetta figure. Rather than an poseable figure, this piece will be a 1/6 scale PVC statue in the dynamic pose you see above. They have also shared that she will be sculpted on a light-up base with the fired bullets from her gun laying all over it.
THAT SOUNDS SO HOT.
We don't know a release date or price yet, but as soon as Kotobukiya passes the word along we'll let you know. Exciting news for Bayonetta fans, isn't it? I'm really looking forward to seeing this statue in person!
