Here's the song by Korn that was made Ubisoft's and Free Radical's Haze. The song is called Haze and Korn performed it live at a concert. The song is available on Korn's new album that was released overseas. To quote the press release, this is "Cutting-edge videogame meets cutting-edge metal". Yeah, Korn was cutting-edge five years ago. Today, not so much.
Eh, who am I kidding? None of you give a sh*t about this. Luckily, we have three new videos that you will care about after the jump. All three videos show off the multiplayer aspect of the game, and you can see some of the various weapons you will be able to use.
Sniper and Magnum video.
Rifle and knife combat.
Rocket Launcher and shotgun combat.
As you watch the videos, you may notice that the guy playing the game shoots enemies after they have died. In Haze, you can fake your death in order to trick your enemies. That will work great in the single player campaign as you're only up against the AI. In multiplayer, however, it won't be as easy.
How do you think the multiplayer aspect is turning out? I'm not so sure that I'm going to like having to worry about "corpses" as well as people running around the map. Sure, it adds a whole new element, but I can see it getting old fast.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Mhh...Korn songs doesnt get any better these days. I love their old albums, but new songs, especially this are pretty week. C'mon that chorus sucks a**.
Lol @ the knife that gets stuck in that guy climbing down the ladder. I actually kind of look forward to playing it. But it's definitely nothing I'm super excited about.
I mean did they really have to go with Korn, I mean really? Anyone but Korn would probably be better.
to be honest, those MP-videos didn't really convince me... some of the action seems a bit shoddy and I saw guys pumping a full loader of bullets into a guy at close range and then still needing a grenade to finish him off... seems like the hit-registering-system is not up to par...
I like KoRn, and I like this game. It's not as great as some other FPSs, but it's nowhere near as bad as some either. It's just taken too long to make.
lol korn was never cutting edge, but i felt they were back when i was in 6th grade (1994-95) and i heard "ARE YOU READYYY!" at the end of the street fighter II animated movie. lol, i used to think i was so cool being a little black kid rocking out with all my friends. wish i had better taste.
I've always like Korn. I still do. But I also have a very broad range in music taste and collection ranging from everything except cuntry (no typo here)and gangsta rap. I guess not everyone can have that.
For the game however, I can't get excited over it since I don't have a PS3 yet.
i wont lie, im a music snob, i generally like less commercially successful bands and acts, but i still like some of the classics like soundgarden and stone temple pilots. you cant deny that the composition of their songs and the lyrics arent as bad as someone like korn. the problem with so called "nu metal" is that those bands generally take out the only saving grace of metal, complexity. its dumbed down and lacks things like solos and offbeat time signatures. verse chorus verse chorus, bridge chorus chorus... blah. okay i need to stop ranting.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

But really, I need something else to fire up in my PS3...no more Resistance!
I mean your lead singer is reduced to wearing what looks like a dress. Man-dresses don't make you any more relevant...
The music on that song was alright, but the lyrics were kinda' lame.
I'm debating whether or not I should buy a PS3 on the 29th and get the GTA IV bundle with that.
Eh, might as well just save the money.
For the game however, I can't get excited over it since I don't have a PS3 yet.
Just because someone doesn't like Korn doesn't mean that they're less musically diverse than you. It just means that they think Korn sucks.
Which, they do.

*wants to be as cool as all the popular kids, immeadiately says that any popular band sucks*
Still looks like a lot of fun though. These guys know how to make good shooters, so I'm willing to give it a shot.
