Konami's Time Hollow to be localized and released in August

When I checked out Konami's new offerings last year at TGS, I remember coming across Time Hollow (and its awesome booth) and thinking how great it looked and how we'd probably never see a localized release. Well, I'm glad to say that I was wrong.

The DS title tells the story of a guy who comes across a Time Pen (your DS stylus) that lets him manipulate time itself. Nintendic tells us that the latest issue of Nintendo Power confirms that an English language localization is underway, and that the game is set for an August release.

I only had a short time to play Time Hollow, but I do recall that it was packed with anime and great music, and had a Phoenix Wright-ish vibe to it. The title was released in Japan last month. I've had a chance to hear the musical score since then, and I'm impressed with what I've heard so far.

If this seems like it would be up your alley, poke around the Japanese Web site and check out the images in the gallery below. There's a Japanese TV spot for Time Hollow above, and another waits after the jump.

I was sold on Time Hollow at first site. But what about you? Will you pick this up when it is released later this year?

Hope this shows up on the Everybody's Nintendo Channel (version USA) as a demo. I'd love to give it a try.

commercials fail to makes me want to buy a product. Unless its something I already plan on buying, then they only feed my desire

this commercial makes me want that game...

of course you can count on Japanese actually getting a time pen with purchase while we get jack .

So in essence from what I'm gathering this is Time Pilot x Ace Attorney x Portal x standard anime aesthetic. I'm in.

And if this game gets a European release in a month, I'll be ready for my birthday. :OD
