At an event tonight, Konami has revealed the first details on the special edition for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Arriving February 19, the package will include the game, a soundtrack and a High Frequency Blade plasma lamp.
You know those things you see in tacky gift shops and science-fiction movies where you can see current passing between a central core and the glass dome which separates you from it? That's what the lamp thing is going to be, except smaller and crappier and with Raiden's sword in the middle. Get excited.
No pricing yet on this item, which will surely be highly sought-after. Screw investing in gold or real estate. Collector's editions of games is where I'm sinking my entire retirement fund.
